Summary/Abstract: Using as a pretext one of Hasdeu’s poems, the study focuses it’s investigation on his philosophical conception. In it’s essence it’s about a gnostic eschatology and a spiritualist phenomenology, in a tensional relation with the Christian dogma. A paradoxical approach interpreted according to three major aspects: 1. The lower one in sight of the upper one: death and revival; 2. Between the softness of the body and the hesitations of the soul; 3. Asomatism versus body wrapped up in immortality.
