Summary/Abstract: The paper presents Ion Heliade Rădulescu’s thought – as it appears in his theoretical writings The Equilibrium between antitheses, The Critical Universal History and The Biblicals – about the nature of the relation between dualism and triadism in its multiple hypostases. The constant progression of the duality towards a triadic ontological form begins with the discussion about the theory of the point and that of the line, before finding its accomplishment in the triad, usually a triangle. Aspect that makes possible a comparative study concerning the Pythagorean implications, an arithmological background integrated in the horizon of a superior, enlightened, eclecticism.
