An Excerpt from a Status Animarum of the Saxon Parish of Câmpulung <1649 – 1650>

Summary/Abstract: The paper is based on a fragment of a document listing the Catholics belonging to the parish of Câmpulung. The document was written in 1649 or 1650 by the rector Francesco Maria Spera of Narni and contains the names of 98 Saxon town dwellers. Starting from this excerpt, a complex historical analysis of the onomastics of the related community is made.
