Summary/Abstract: The rational approach to assimilation of the proper habits when we play wind instruments is vital in order to achieve good performing results. On one hand, working on building a good embouchure reflects directly to the quality of the performance of all musical-technical elements and tools of expression when we play the clarinet or in general any kind of wind instrument. Those tools of expression most often are: all qualities of the tone concept, including the strength, tuning, length, the color of tone, all kind of tonguing and articulation as well as the shaping of the musical phrase and etc. On the other hand, the embouchure can be seen as a base element of the fundamental playing system. This fundamental playing system is in relation with the performing breathing and the most adaptive way of playing.
