Summary/Abstract: Social workers, who have recently joined a master’s level course with a specialization in clinical social work were asked to reflect about mental health issues in their own sociocultural contexts. Questions targeted the perceptions of mental health problems, social norms on help-seeking behaviour and available resources. Reflections highlight the role of cultural competence in clinical social work and inform the readers about some contemporary challenges of clinical social work in an international context.
