Borisav Stanković’s Work in Editions of Collected and Selected Works and Editions of Serbian Literature

Summary/Abstract: The study points out the presence of Borisav Stanković (1876–1927) and his literary work in editions of collected and selected works, as well as editions of Serbian literature. The most important editions that include Borisav Stanković’s works are highlighted: Collected Works of Borisav Stanković (1928–1932), Collected Works of Borisav Stanković (1956–1957), Collected Works of Borisav Stanković (1970, 1980, 1983, 1985, 1987, 1991). The editions considered incude Serbian Literature in One Hundred Books (first edition 1958–1966; second edition 1969–1972), Serbian Literature – Novel (1982), Serbian Literature – Drama (1987), as well as the anthological edition Ten Centuries of Serbian Literature (2012). The aforementioned editions contain a good textual approach and exemplary introductory studies that confirm the high achievements of Stanković’s work in Serbian literature at the end of the 19th century and in the first third of the 20th century.
