Summary/Abstract: The following text describes a new digital edition of the Sinai Psalter adapted for diachronic etymological studies of Old Church Slavonic (OCS) within an Indo- European and areal context. Alongside already well-developed empiric, function-agnostic morphosyntactic annotation, the corpus includes new tags relevant for the analysis of deep verbal structures such as aspect and transitivity. This provides a new perspective on the problem of the development of verbal suffixes, which is less bound to pre-theoretical notions about the synchronic system productive in OCS. Identification of individual stem classes focuses on the form conveyed by the text, supported by etymological data collected in an on-site dictionary. The database is freely available online.
