Summary/Abstract: The presence of organs of collective representation of workers in the company is the result of a long evolution, tin which it has been fought the business position that considers the set of workers as a simple sum of individuals, without collective relevance. Its existence in the work place reflects two antagonistic images. The appearance of organs of collective representation of workers, inside the company and outside of it, is a clear limitation of the faculties of the employer, since the moment when his interlocutor is not going to be the individual worker devoid of strength and the ability to negotiate better working conditions, but the negotiation will occur with collective representations of workers, equipped with faculties and measures that allow a better balance between capital and labor. From the point of view of the workers, the existence of representative organs within the company supposed the possibility to organize collectively, intervening in the fixing of the terms and conditions of work, limiting the existing corporate power to impose conditions.
