11. Temporal application of the civil law in the lease agreement. Critical review

Summary/Abstract: In order to remove the enforceable effect of the lease concluded prior to the entry into force of Article 1.798 of the Civil Code of 2009, an express exception was necessary in this regard; the silence of the law implementing the Civil Code is not sufficient, since Article 3 of Law no. 71/2011 applies only to the effects of substantive law, not to those of procedural law.
