Summary/Abstract: Military units and institutions carry out training and operational tasks outside the place of permanent dislocation. It is therefore necessary to move forces and resources to the proving grounds or place of operational exploitation. Given the parameters and the amount of military equipment, it is justified to use in military transport with the possibility of rail transportation. Because of the need to meet the needs of the national economy, individuals and military institutions wishing to take advantage of rail transport capabilities are obliged to comply with certain procedures. In general, organizational matters for peacetime are governed by appropriate normative documents. At the same time, military units and institutions are subjected to cyclic training, which creates the rationale for the correct use of rail transport in the military.
