Summary/Abstract: The article examines electronic medical records (EMRs) as an object of forensic analysis in the context of healthcare digitalization and their expanding use in criminal, civil, and administrative proceedings. The relevance of the study is обусловлена the growing risks of unauthorized interference with EMR content, manipulation of access logs, selective deletion, or retrospective alteration of records, which reduces the evidentiary value of medical documentation and complicates the establishment of factual circumstances in a case. It is noted that contemporary research in the field of electronic medical record security is predominantly focused on issues of confidentiality and protection against data breaches, whereas algorithmic methods for the forensic analysis of EMRs remain only fragmentarily developed. The aim of the article is to develop a conceptually and normatively grounded set of algorithmic approaches to the forensic analysis of electronic medical records, aimed at detecting interference in their structure and content, reconstructing event chronology, and attributing user actions. The study is based on an interdisciplinary approach combining methods of digital forensics, medical law, and information security, taking into account the requirements of European legal regulation, including the GDPR and the emerging European Health Data Space framework. The paper proposes a model of EMRs as a combination of content data, metadata, and digital artifacts, on the basis of which the tasks of forensic analysis are systematized and a set of algorithmic solutions is substantiated. The conclusion is drawn regarding the practical significance of integrating forensically oriented algorithms into the architecture of electronic healthcare systems in order to enhance the reliability of digital evidence and protect patient rights.
