Innovation and/or Tradition in Teaching Physical Education at Secondary School

Summary/Abstract: The paper presents a brief review of using of the concept “innovation” in teaching Physical education. The emphasis is put on the types of innovations applicable in sports on school level as well as on traditional methods and attitudes towards sports at secondary school. The conclusions drawn concern the relationship between the old, evolutionary and innovative, revolutionary development of Physical education and sports.
