The chinese art song. Origin and first attempts (1919 - 1949).

Summary/Abstract: In this doctoral thesis, the origin of the Chinese art song will be considered. Based on selected examples, the piano accompaniments of classical songs covering the period 1919 – 1949 will be discussed and reduced. The piano part of the Chinese artistically created songs during the mentioned period will be discussed and studied – in the light of the historical perspective and preconditions, their style and peculiarities will be presented in concert.
