Summary/Abstract: The article argues that the polysensory nature of Szczepan Kopyt’s book, Buch (2011), determines its political agency, allowing the recipient to critically reflect on sonic manipulations in the ocular-centric reality of capitalism. Therefore, this text analyses the relationships and tensions between the three dimensions of Buch: visual, textual, and sonic one (e.g., between the sound of poems and their graphic and syntactic layouts; the sound of texts and their music realisations). For those analyses, the context is sound studies; mainly these reflections that focus on the political potential of sound.
