KEY CONCEPTS IN ACHIEVING PERFORMANCE IN THE FIELD OF MUSICAL ART

Summary/Abstract: Is music art a way to develop self-knowledge, interpersonal relationships, communication, motivation, commitment, creativity, the ability to work together? Does it play an important role in developing memory and concentration? Is playing a musical instrument a dream for most children? Through this paper I have tried to answer all these questions, outlining the role and importance of the teacher-student relationship in achieving performance in the field of musical art. Music is present in most manifestations of the human being. It delights us, makes us happy or sad, gives us a rich content of ideas, helps us to understand thoughts, feelings. There is a difference between listening to music and listening to music. Decisive factors in this context are the degree of sensitivity that each individual has on the one hand and on the other hand the musical education from childhood of each of us. Therefore, music education has played an important role since childhood; It is no coincidence that we encounter this discipline both in kindergartens and in primary, secondary and high school, where it is done in an organized way with specific means, methods and procedures. The means used in early music education and not only, help to develop the imagination, stimulate attention, develop auditory memory and last but not least discipline. Music is the art that directly influences the feelings of the human being. In order for it to produce an emotional state, it is necessary for us, the teachers, to develop the children's ability to perceive it, to educate their interest and love for music, to teach them to listen, to sing and to move in rhythm and at her own pace. It is well known that the knowledge of each student takes place through communication. In the artistic-musical field, communication takes a complex form. In music education, verbal and nonverbal communication, with the help of mime and gestures, will directly reflect the qualities of the teacher and the student, the teaching-learning process taking place in a completely different way than in mainstream education, namely individually, the lessons taking place with each student individually. Through this special method, the teacher has a series of advantages that lead to the increase of the efficiency of the formative-educational activity, to the achievement of the desired performance.
