Summary/Abstract: The aim of this article is to examine the main economic and social challenges faced by people under the age of 29 with low levels of education in Bulgaria. The study emphasizes the need for lifelong learning and the development of soft skills and competencies, which are of paramount importance for successful professional realization in a world of digital technologies and innovations. Conclusions and recommendations are made based on indicators characterizing the educational level and employment rate of young people under 29 in Bulgaria.
