Summary/Abstract: In this paper, a brief analysis of the refugee wave situation in Bulgaria is made. More significant problems and difficulties are defined. A questionnaire has been developed showing the attitude of the Bulgarian society towards asylum seekers in Bulgaria. Attention is paid to the legal framework, approaches and methods related to sustainable development and refugee integration.
