Summary/Abstract: This article concerns widely discussion issues related to the career prospects and employment of young people from the European Union. The article sets out some active labour policies with a focus on young people entering the labour market. The development provides a comparative analysis between the 28 EU Member States on key indicators characterising the labour market for 2018. On the basis of the research carried out, some conclusions and recommendations for the positive impact on successful labour realization among the young population are indicated.
