Summary/Abstract: In clause the ideas and scientific arguments are considered which were used by the or-ganizers of separate training of the boys and girls at schools of Russia (1990—2000) for a substantiation of its expediency. The points of view of the supporters and opponents of sepa-rate education correspond with the modern scientific approaches.
