Summary/Abstract: The attention of scholars, which has been focused for decades on Domentijan’s Life of Saint Sava, has left aside many important questions from his Life of Saint Simeon. Addressing these questions contributes to a more comprehensive understanding of Domentijan’s poetics. One such question concerns the author’s praise of Toplica and Stefan Nemanja, which symbolically reflects the concept of the East.
