Summary/Abstract: The budgetary principles regulated by the legislation in our country and which underlie the budgetary procedure are: universality, publicity, unity, annuality, budgetary specialization, monetary unity, non-allocation of revenues and budgetary balance. Compliance with these principles ensures good budgetary governance. Good budgetary governance implies good administration of public revenues and expenditures, compliance with budgetary principles and rules, as well as standards of good governance in view of the long-term sustainability of public finances.
