Summary/Abstract: The present article aims to cover the international experience regarding similar procedures of exemption from criminal liability with imposition of an administrative fine under Article 78a of the Criminal Code. The regulatory framework of most European Union countries is covered, and it’s made an attempt to find parallels with bulgarian legislation.
