Summary/Abstract: The implementation of digitalization in entrepreneurship has become a key factor in achieving competitive advantage and business success in the global economy. Digitalization enables the optimization of business processes, improved connectivity with global markets, and greater flexibility in working methods. In Croatia, entrepreneurs are increasingly adopting new forms of work such as mobile work via information and communication technologies (ICT), temporary employment, job sharing, and online platforms. These trends boost productivity and meet the expectations of young workers seeking flexibility. They also lay the foundation for longterm growth and competitiveness, while supporting business transformation across all levels. However, digitalization also faces challenges such as tax burdens, uncertainty, and difficulties in accessing financing. Additionally, entrepreneurs encounter problems aligning legislative frameworks with new business models, which may hinder the broader application of digital tools. Despite these obstacles, the main advantage of digitalization lies in the reduction of operational costs, faster decision-making, and increased organizational flexibility. It is necessary to invest in workforce education, particularly in digital skills, and to develop political and economic measures that will support digital transformation in entrepreneurship. To succeed in digitalization, entrepreneurs must be willing to continuously invest in new technologies, align with global trends, and adapt their business models to changing market conditions. It is also crucial for the government to provide a favorable fiscal environment and public policies that promote the development of digital infrastructure and facilitate the adoption of digitalization in small and medium-sized enterprises. The results point to the potential benefits that digitalization can bring to the business sector, including economic efficiency, innovation stimulation, and enhanced competitiveness. However, further empirical research and implementation analyses are needed to confirm its concrete effects in the context of the Republic of Croatia.
