Summary/Abstract: Verification of the signatures supporting the nomination of candidates in elections constitutes an important element of an election process, ensuring election legality and transparency. In the article, the issue of signature verification was analysed on the example of the Polish parliamentary elections of 2023 and the self-government elections of 2024. The conducted analysis encompassed legal, administrative and technical aspects related to the verification of supporting signatures. The objective of the study was to provide knowledge and tools for better understanding, as well as to streamline the process of signature verification. The conclusions drawn are of vital importance to further deliberations on the facilitation of the process under discussion.
