Summary/Abstract: The article analyses the responses of the Baltic States and Finland to Russian threats, examining their defence and adaptation strategies. The aim is to understand how these countries modify their approach to defence in the context of growing tensions with Russia. The hypotheses suggest that the Russian threat leads to an intensification of military cooperation in the region and changes in strategic priorities, especially in Finland. The methodology is based on case studies and an adaptive theory, enabling a detailed analysis of the defence policies. The conclusions confirm that these countries have increased defence spending, invested in protective barriers, and intensified military and civilian cooperation, resulting in better preparation for potential threats and strengthening regional and global stability
