Summary/Abstract: In this paper, the author provides an interpretation (tafsir) of Surah Al-Munāfiqūn (The Hypocrites), the 63rd chapter of the Qur’an, which consists of eleven verses (ayah). The Surah is named after the word al-munāfiqūn, which appears at the beginning of the chapter. The very name of the Surah suggests its central theme: a description of the hypocrites (munāfiqūn) and a warning about them and/or their actions.
