Summary/Abstract: The article examines the impact of artificial intelligence on the fashion industry and the ways in which it reshapes both the creative process and the legal framework applicable to fashion creations. AI no longer functions merely as a technical support tool, it directly contributes to design generation, the personalization of consumer experiences, production optimization and the development of digital fashion and the metaverse, thereby producing significant transformations across the entire fashion ecosystem. The study highlights the legal implications of generative systems from the perspective of intellectual property protection, particularly copyright and design law. It addresses the limits of the concept of originality, the role of the human creator and the risks associated with the use of protected works in training datasets. At present, the intellectual property framework is not fully adapted to works generated or co-generated by artificial intelligence, leaving this field open to ongoing legal and doctrinal debate.
