Summary/Abstract: In a register distinct from the established historiographical one, the authors analyse Leon Scridon's activity, emphasising his engagement in pursuits differing from his administrative profession, which he undertook at the “Bistriţiana” bank in Bistriţa and “Aurora” bank in Năsăud.Leon Scridon expressed his opinions in lengthy exposés that were published as brochures or in newspapers. He was involved in analysing, diagnosing, and offering solutions for the management of the funds of the Năsăud Border Guards. His work was crucial during critical times, such as 1905–1909, or during the economic decline in the interwar years (1924–1936).
