Summary/Abstract: Operation "Absolute Resolve" was a complex and precisely planned special operation carried out by the United States in January 2026, with the primary goal of capturing the President of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro. This highly risky mission was part of a broader U.S. strategy aimed at toppling Maduro's regime, which had long destabilized Venezuela and posed a threat to the stability of the Latin American region. The operation had military, political, and intelligence dimensions, relying on advanced technologies, close coordination among special forces, and precise intelligence data. In the first phase of the operation, the United States conducted intense airstrikes aimed at destroying Venezuela’s air defense systems and gaining control of the airspace around Caracas.
