Summary/Abstract: This study aims to highlight the communal and missionary character of the Church, in contrast to the individualistic tendencies of today's society. This communal aspect is reflected in the communion that is established in the Church both among human persons and between humanity and God. In this context, it is stated that the Church cannot be reduced to a mere institution, but rather represents a way of life that profoundly expresses the human person’s relationship with the world and with God, even when it manifests itself through institutional forms.
