Summary/Abstract: In this study we seek to shed light on the confession of the true faith—the faith in the one true God—as well as on the torment of the martyr’s death endured by Saint Stephen the Protomartyr and Archdeacon, who gave his life for Christ by proclaiming a saving truth of faith that profoundly transformed the life and perspective of the early Church in the city of Jerusalem.
