Summary/Abstract: Globalization has profoundly influenced linguistic dynamics across the world. The increasing interconnectedness between societies, cultures, and economies has led to the expansion of certain global languages while simultaneously creating challenges for linguistic diversity. This paper examines the main linguistic challenges and perspectives in the context of globalization, focusing on language contact, the spread of dominant languages, digital communication, and the preservation of linguistic identity. The study highlights both the risks associated with linguistic homogenization and the opportunities for intercultural dialogue and multilingual development. By analyzing the transformations generated by globalization in the linguistic sphere, the paper aims to provide a balanced understanding of the role of language in shaping contemporary global societies.
