Summary/Abstract: This paper explores nature in Louise Erdrich’s novel entitled ”The Antelope Wife”. Nature is more than just scenery acting like a living force in the story. It affects the way in which the characters think, feel and act. Through her poetic and detailed descriptions of weather, seasons, and landscapes, Erdrich shows how closely human emotions are tied to the world around them. The present study examines how weather and setting reflect important moments in the characters’ lives and often carry symbolic meaning. From heavy snowfalls to blooming spring days, every natural detail adds emotional depth to the story.
