Summary/Abstract: The article's discussion of regionalism in girls' novels draws attention to the role of space in shaping identity, education, and cultural values of the young generation. Although girls' novels have been the subject of scholarly interest, research has typically focused on genre classification, historical context, the construction of female protagonists, or the didactic functions of the texts. While the issue of space remains a research gap in the existing literature, these novels highlight rural, idyllic, and urban environments, often contrasted through a dichotomy of values. In this context, regionalism not only defines the setting of the narrative but also serves a didactic and ideological function by fostering a sense of belonging and strengthening both national and local identities.
