Summary/Abstract: The healings of diseases performed by the Savior are part of His messianic activity, as fulfillment of prophecies, in the context of preaching and establishing the kingdom of God in the world of sin. These healings are full of naturalness, discretion, and compassion, with nothing provocative, spectacular, publicity, or self-interested. The Savior was not interested in anything other than the salvation of man, of his nature in the zodiac of sin, which generates suffering, sickness, and death... Therefore, they concern the whole being of man: both the body as deliverance from suffering, infirmity, and sickness, and the soul as deliverance from the burden of sin and death. Although the healing grace was given to the Apostles, the disciples, and other spiritual believers alike, the only true Healer is and remains the Savior. From Him comes grace and power through the work of the Holy Spirit, and to Him is due gratitude and worship as God.
