Summary/Abstract: The common prayer for Christian unity is part of the Savior’s desire that all who believe in Him may be one. This prayer does not contradict the saving truth nor the canonical ordinances of the Orthodox Church if it is cultivated with discernment, „holding the truth in love”, according to the motto: „to preserve the unity of faith and canonical Orthodox discipline, but also peace among the cults”.
