Summary/Abstract: The Church in the Serbian Banat has promoted, according to its possibilities, a normal and healthy general attitude towards the community of its believers. It was always close, sacrificed time and resources, fought and acted, preached and educated. All this was interwoven with the prayer that was uttered in the altars of the churches and in the souls of the people. It remains for us to intensify the spiritual and pastoral struggle in order not to lose what is left of the souls of the people who live in the far west of the Romanian space. In today’s pastoral conditions, the parish church must go beyond its strictly liturgical role, so that it does not appear to be just an institution that provides religious services. Other activities, such as those organized with the younger generation, spiritual evenings, catechetical cycles, the promotion of traditional values, religious music concerts, religious film evenings and even conferences on various topics (religion, philosophy, science) to strengthen the faith, language and customs of Romanians in the communities of believers in Serbia are also very well received in the parish.
