Summary/Abstract: The first catalog of the elders of the Serbian Patriarchate for the period from 1691 to 1766 was compiled on the basis of Serbian sources by Radoslav Grujić exactly one hundred years ago (1921). His catalog is integrated into all historical syntheses about the past of the Serbian Church in the 18th century, and is still relevant in historiography today. This article presents the contents of documents from the archives of the Ottoman Office of the Bishopric Tax-Farming (Piskopos mukâta‘sı kalemi), which were created during the administrative procedures for appointing the Patriarchs of Peć in Istanbul. Since the course of this procedure is described on the example of the appointment of Mojsej Rajović (1712–1724) (see Appendix 1), the article presents data on the appointments of all the patriarchs of Peć in the period from 1691 to 1766. In this way, a new, more reliable and chronologically more precise catalog of the elders of the Serbian Patriarchate in the last eight decades of its autocephaly was established (see Table 1).
