Summary/Abstract: The coronavirus pandemic has been a multifaceted challenge: medical, economic, financial, communicative, social, and behavioral. The public space has been obsessed with “COVID-19” and the related crisis of adequate information, political and social measures, trust, the challenged relationships within and beyond states. The media (both traditional and non-traditional) disseminate official and alternative theories about the pandemic and significantly influence opinion formation on all matters related to it. This paper aims at reviewing some conspiracy theories (e.g., ‘plandemic’, ‘pure blood’) that have swept over the audience and have influenced, one way or another, the audience’s attitude toward vaccination. The article comments on the consequences of conspiracy narrative mediation in the public sphere, focusing primarily on the political radicalization of conspiracy storytellers.
