Summary/Abstract: I met Sasha Andrusyk, the co-founder and curator of the Ukho music agency, in a crowded cafe on the Golden Gate in Kyiv. As soon as we started recording the interview, the sounds of urgent repair work joined the lunchtime hubbub. I thought that this unplanned noise, although it would hinder my deciphering the recording, would still fit our conversation about contemporary experimental music.
