Summary/Abstract: In inclusive classrooms with students who have diverse learning needs, it is extremely challenging to engage them in reading and writing activities and instil a relevance for them using traditional teaching methods. In this study, the role of game-based learning environments in helping students acquire reading and writing skills in inclusive classrooms is examined and interpreted in light of the results of a six-week implementation.
