Multicultural aspects in Banat literature, exemplified by Adam Müller-Guttenbrunn and Johann Szimits

Summary/Abstract: In this work the author analyses how the two writers critically examined various peculiarities of the Banat literature, such as their relationships with non-German neighbours in different ways, because both cultivated good neighbourly relations with them and emphasised these in their works in a special way, whereby they examined many things with a critical eye typical of the writer, which contributed to the highlighting of the way of life in the milieu of the village population.
