Summary/Abstract: Artificial intelligence (AI) redefines the activity of criminal prosecution bodies, transforming technology into a cognitive partner of investigators. Through the analysis of digital evidence, data correlation and behavioral prediction, AI supports the criminal process, contributing to the efficiency of investigations and increasing the quality of decision-making. Natural language processing algorithms, facial recognition and Big Data analysis allow the identification of criminal patterns and hidden connections, accelerating the discovery of the judicial truth. At the same time, predictive systems and the automation of administrative processes increase coherence and reduce procedural errors. However, the use of AI raises ethical and legal challenges regarding data protection, algorithmic discrimination and decision-making transparency. A responsible implementation requires human control, algorithmic audit and compliance with fundamental rights. Thus, AI becomes a legitimate tool of digital justice, in which technological innovation is balanced by ethical, procedural and human guarantees.
