Summary/Abstract: In contemporary society, social media has become one of the most powerful tools for shaping the awareness and behavior of young people. This paper explores how digital platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube contribute to sustainability education and the promotion of environmentally responsible habits. Special emphasis is placed on the analysis of online campaigns that encourage recycling, resource preservation, and waste reduction, as well as the role of influencers and media content in spreading ecological messages. The aim of this paper is to demonstrate how social networks can serve as a form of informal education and a catalyst for positive social change. The results indicate that digital communication holds significant potential in fostering environmental awareness among youth in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
