Summary/Abstract: The green economy aims to reduce economic risks and disadvantages, and aims for sustainable development without environmental degradation. The green economy must go through comprehensive changes in the way of thinking and a clearly focused strategy. Public relations as a separate management function helps in establishment and maintenance. Today, we cannot imagine life without the media, because they are in the daily life of an individual. The media have become educators of people, especially children and young people. The media have a great influence in society, and they serve to connect the whole world. The media has expanded so much that it can influence our impressions, feelings, and understanding of the world. The size and impact of the pressure on the environment in Bosnia and Herzegovina is a consequence of the development trends in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the consent that comes to the environment through cross-border pollution. In the sixties and seventies of the las century, the understanding of literacy as a necessary condition for ecological growth and national development prevailed in the international community. In particular, the growth of the population has led to complex environmental problems, such as pollution of the atmosphere, water, soil... Since the media have the power to provide information quickly, they should highlight more important topics and strive more towards responsible behavior.
