Non‑medical work during the COVID-19 pandemic in the light of coronavirus Polish

Summary/Abstract: The article concerns neologisms created during the SARS‑CoV-2 coronavirus pandemic related to work in non‑medical professions. It is a continuation of the authors’ earlier considerations on the lexicon related to the work of the health service during this period. The analysis covered vocabulary and word combinations related to political, economic, artistic and didactic activities – these spheres of professional life were taken into account by Polish users in the linguistic interpretation of the coronavirus reality. Neologisms, diverse in genetic and formal terms, are primarily nominative in nature, and to a small extent expressive, which distinguishes them from the lexicon related to the work of the health service.
