Summary/Abstract: In the present study, we focus on the life and work of Ali Cemal (Cemalov) from Provadia, whose contributions as an activist in the Bulgarian Communist Party (BKP), as well as his public and journalistic endeavors, deserve closer attention. Despite Ali Cemal's significant contributions, his name is relatively unknown. Ali Cemal is also interesting to us because he actively collaborated with the commercial newspaper "Rumeli" (1924-1925), published by the Turkish political émigré Tarik Mumtaz. Examining the activity of the Turkish cultural and educational society "Kazal Bayrak" in Provadia, also allows us to clarify the essence of the youth organization established in Targovishte by Tarik Mumtaz during his stay there (1923-1925).
