Summary/Abstract: Within the framework of the sacred mystagogy of the Church, the work follows the literal and figurative meanings of the parable of the Canaanite woman's perseverance in faith from the Holy Gospel according to Matthew (Mt. 15:21–28). The aforementioned parable also directs readers to personal perseverance in true faith as the central evangelical asceticism on the path of salvation. The long-suffering in the orthodoxy of the simple Canaanite woman is great faith, and according to the infallible judgment of the God-man Christ himself. The anonymous Canaanite woman testifies that there is no living faith without determination of will and absolute trust in the healing power, mission and person of the Lord Christ.
