Summary/Abstract: Recently, the Serbian scholar Branislav Todić examined a Slavonic commemorative diptych from Mount Athos, which he believed to have originated from the Monastery of Saint Panteleimon. The manuscript once belonged to Piotr Ivanovič Sevastjanov (1811-1867) and is currently kept at the Russian State Library in Moscow under the reference number ф. 270. II. No. 35/M. 1465 (https://lib-fond.ru/lib-rgb/270/f-270-ii-35/). Based on the information provided by the manuscript, the present article examines the chronology of donations made by Wallachian princes and boyars to this holy site, highlighting new data on the genealogy of Wallachian ruling families. The current article also introduces and supports the hypothesis that Prince Vladislav II (1447-1456) was the first to grant a Wallachian donation to Saint Panteleimon.
