Summary/Abstract: The Oxford Happiness Questionnaire is a widely used tool for the psychological study of "subjective well-being," whose psychometric characteristics show great variation, which can be explained on the one hand by cultural differences of the subjects, and on the other hand by the multidimensionality and complexity of the construct itself. The present article aims to present the psychometric characteristics of the tool in a sample of 220 Bulgarian residents aged between 42 and 65. The obtained results support the validity and reliability of the tool.
